Job DescriptionJob Description The Prince George Native Friendship Centre (PGNFC) delivers programs and services through a lens of reconciliation, as we have been doing since the inception of the PGNFC for the past 50+ years. Come join our dynamic team as a: Summer Student - Food Truck Worker (Term) Full & Part Time with a flexible work schedule - $19.85/hr. Reporting to the Outreach Coordinator. Along with being a well-organized, highly motivated individual that is passionate about cooking. You have a high level of customer service skills. This position is in the Youth Services Department and specifically with the PGNFC Food Truck. Qualifications: Previous cooking or food service experience is an asset (but not required). Strong work ethic and reliability. Team player with a positive attitude. Excellent customer service skills, personable, and professional. Ability to develop and maintain respectful, positive, and supportive relationships with all staff, patrons, customers, and vendors of PGNC. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Food Safe Certification (preferred or willing to obtain) Preference will be given to applicants of Canadian Indigenous ancestry.
