The Opportunity:One full-time permanent position At Capital Power, we're focused on growth: expanding our portfolio, optimizing assets, and building the capacity needed to meet rising power demand across North America. As demand accelerates, from industrial expansion to data centres and electrification, the ability to secure the right talent quickly and effectively is critical. We're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to own end-to-end hiring helping us to shape how we go to market for talent and delivering the hires that enable this next phase of growth. What you'll do Own full-cycle recruitment: intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers Partner with leaders to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring plans aligned to growth priorities Build pipelines for hard-to-fill and emerging capability roles Advise on talent market dynamics and competitive positioning Lead structured assessment and provide clear hiring recommendations Deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience Manage offers and secure top talent in competitive markets Improve hiring outcomes by driving speed, quality, and consistency What you bring 7+ years experience leading full-cycle recruitment, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or technical environments Ability to influence leaders and operate as a trusted advisor Strong sourcing capability and pipeline development experience Sound judgment in assessing talent across technical and commercial roles Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Workday) Working Conditions: Hybrid Office/Work from home position, with possible travel to meet business users at Capital Power facilities or other offices.
