Job DescriptionJob Description Sr. Mechanical Designer Summary Help develop advanced integrated assembly, inspection, and welding systems to automate manufacturing in the Automotive Sector. Responsibilities Design mechanical systems and complete machines involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components using Solidworks Complete engineering calculations and analysis for all systems Work with whole team to diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, and develop solutions Communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues with respect to all aspects of ongoing projects Qualifications Post-secondary degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent Minimum 8+ years of mechanical design experience Relevant mechanical design experience in an industrial setting Experience designing pneumatics Advanced knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD
