Job DescriptionJob Description Key Responsibilities: 1. Franchise Partner Media & Investment Strategy Utilize and deploy national and local media frameworks in partnership with internal Paid Media teams and external agencies to design, deploy, and influence adoption of national and local media frameworks. Leads the integrated planning process to drive and optimize franchise level investment to effectively support meeting brand objectives. 2. Franchise Account Leadership & Relationship Strategy Oversee the Account Managers and provide day-to-day portfolio support, leveraging data analytics tools to deliver robust marketing performance reviews. Serve as the primary lead for system-wide partner relations and change management, guiding franchise owners through local media planning and high-stakes transitions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new location start-ups. 3. Performance Data Storytelling & Franchise Advocacy Act as the primary media advocate for franchise partners, translating sophisticated data, competitor research, and market performance trends into clear, actionable insights. Partner with Paid Media and agency vendors to build compelling business cases, ensuring all media investment recommendations are strategically justified and clearly communicated to both small business owners and experienced marketers. 4. Local Market Intelligence & Localized Growth Leverage existing market-level data to evaluate franchise performance, competitive dynamics, media efficiency, and customer demand trends. Translate this data into actionable investment recommendations that help franchise partners identify market opportunities, bridge investment gaps, and improve localized profitability. 5. Cross-Team Collaboration & Functional Alignment Serve as the strategic bridge between Franchise Marketing and the Paid Media team, integrating local franchise priorities and market dynamics into broader media strategy. This involves close collaboration with Paid Media channel owners and agency partners. 6. Process Maintenance & Strategic Enablement Evaluate, improve, and scale existing planning frameworks, reporting standards, and investment methodologies to drive consistency across franchise markets. Proactively identify and implement process enhancements, including the integration of established AI capabilities, to streamline marketing workflows, optimize team capacity, and bolster franchise partner confidence. Who You Are: Media Architect: Using data, research and experience, you build systems and media strategies that work across a diverse franchise network. Relationship / Partner Strategist: You are a trusted advisor and an empathetic listener who excels at navigating complex partner dynamics. You know how to defuse friction, align conflicting expectations, and turn challenging partner conversations into collaborative business solutions Communicator: You are equally comfortable presenting to a CMO as you are explaining a local search budget to a franchise owner over the phone. Technologist: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled planning and analytics capabilities, to improve strategic decision-making, operational scalability, and partner support Passionate Marketer: You are always reading about the latest trends, following what’s happening in your industry and others that will shape what to test and launch next. Qualifications: 6–8+ years of experience in media planning or marketing strategy (Agency or Franchise experience preferred). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic business outcomes. Prior experience working within a technology or product-led operating model is highly desirable. Proven experience managing direct reports and leading high-performing teams. Experience translating media performance and market intelligence into executive-level business recommendations is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of multi-location or franchise business models preferred. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary Range: $125,000 – $140,000 per annum (The actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.)
