Partnering closely with senior business leaders, SVPs, Corporate FCU, and CFO teams, you will provide financial leadership on technology investments, billion‑dollar business cases, forecasting, planning, and enterprise initiatives.Key Responsibilities Lead a team of three finance professionals, connecting financial insights to technology strategy and shaping decisions that drive growth, operational excellence, and long‑term value creation. Serve as a financial centre of competence and strategic partner for the business/group, supporting short, medium and long‑term objectives; provide decision support, including information, expertise, advice and recommendations on opportunities and exposures. Monitor performance against financial plans, forecasts, initiatives and objectives; escalates issues as required and ensures alignment with governance standards. Build interdependent teams that collaborate across functional and operating groups; attract, retain and develop top talent, coach employees and manage performance. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering strategic input into business decisions and new initiatives based on an in‑depth understanding of the business/group. Provide subject‑matter expertise on relevant regulations and policies; network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices. Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals, developing roadmaps and advising on resource requirements. Lead change management programmes of varying scope, including readiness assessments, planning, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives. Analyze financial and operational highlights for reporting, planning and forecasting requirements; coordinate financial governance, compliance and attestation reporting as necessary. Identify emerging trends and issues to inform decision‑making; provide financial‑related insights and recommendations to influence and negotiate business objectives. Apply risk management frameworks and policies to protect the bank while executing decisions that align with business strategy and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Accounting designation preferred. Expert verbal and written communication, analytical and problem‑solving, influence, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage ambiguity and make data‑driven decisions. Proven experience in financial leadership for technology investments, large‑scale projects and enterprise initiatives. Strong executive presence and confidence to challenge and influence at the senior leadership table. Experience leading teams and managing staff development and performance. Compensation Salary: $94,600.00 – $176,000.00 (Salaried). The range may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
