What You'll Do
The Senior Manager, Global Community Relations & Investment (CRI) provides strategic leadership for Nutrien's global community investment portfolio and serves as the enterprise steward for the company's community investment strategy, governance framework, and charitable investment programs. This strategic role is responsible for executing a globally-aligned CRI strategy that strengthens Nutrien's reputation, supports business priorities, mitigates risk, and creates measurable value for the company and its communities. The Senior Manager leads a multi-disciplinary team and ensures consistent implementation of CRI programs across Nutrien's global footprint while maintaining strong connections to operating segments and local communities.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the development and execution of Nutrien's global Community Relations & Investment strategy
Develop and oversee the enterprise budget across multiple jurisdictions and operating segments
Develops the direction and oversee execution of Nutrien’s proactive grantmaking approach
Lead the translation of strategy to measurable outcomes for the business and communities
Lead the establishment & execution of enterprise-wide investment priorities, funding frameworks, and management processes
Lead, coach, and develop the global CRI team instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration and performance excellence
Ensure there are clear accountabilities, priorities, and development plans across the function
Act as the lead for significant CRI initiatives, partnerships, and strategic investments
Represent Nutrien with senior external stakeholders, industry organizations, and community leaders
Provide leadership oversight of Nutrien's most significant community investment partnerships
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Policy, Communications, External Affairs, Community Development, or a related field
10+ years of progressively senior experience in corporate affairs, external affairs, community investment or related functions, including progressive leadership skills developed over at least 4 years
Experience managing significant budgets and complex portfolios
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives
Polished ability to present to senior internal leaders & external audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead individuals & teams with responsibility for team performance and development
Community investment and social impact measurement
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Change leadership and organizational transformation
