Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) senior high teacher at Next Step Sherwood Park. The assignment involves teaching asynchronously via Brightspace. Must have technical proficiency to have all materials accessible 24/7. Teaching assignment includes Science 10 & 20, ELA 10 & 20, and Social 10 & 20. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in Learning Management Systems such as Brightspace and/or Google Classroom, and skilled at building strong, supportive relationships with at-risk youth. A passion for personalized education and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, student-focused environment are essential. Next Step Fort Saskatchewan provides flexible outreach programming for grades 8 to 12 students with five teaching staff and three support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.
