Role Overview As a Senior Identity and Messaging Consultant within the Professional Services organization, you will consult with enterprise and public sector clients on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange engagements, leading the service delivery and technical teams for planning, setup, configuration, and administration. What You’ll Do Work closely with related teams on Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premise and online), and migration management implementation projects, including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security policy design, administration, and user training. Collaborate with co-workers, end-users, and vendor representatives on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs. Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers and Technicians on the team, providing guidance on technical and soft skills. Act as a technical expert, advising on, implementing, and managing complex solution and service deployments for clients. Maintain a hunger for learning and pursue relevant certifications and training for Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and vendor‑specific tools such as Quest, Bit Titan, and AvePoint. Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting internal and external events that require technical expertise. Engage in a highly visible, customer‑facing role and collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on Statements of Work. Stay current on technology trends and continuously refine delivery, adoption, and problem‑solving skills. What You’ll Bring To The Table A curious mindset and willingness to ask the right questions. Problem‑solving ability and a focus on root‑cause resolution. A proactive work ethic that prioritizes customer responsiveness. Passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering excellent CX. Computer Science, Information Technology degree or diploma, or equivalent industry experience. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. 5+ years in a client‑facing professional services role or 7+ years of related industry experience. Updated certifications, including Active Directory, M365 Fundamentals, M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Windows Server Hybrid Configuration, and ITIL v4 Foundation. Compensation Current base pay range: $99,750 – $133,000 annually + 14% target incentives (Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal).
