Gathers and integrates information to promote the effective and profitable operation of the business/group and enhances the Bank's profile in the marketplace. Works with stakeholders to interpret financial and business results, understands the operating environment & emerging trends and provides planning, support and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and tracks achievement of objectives. Supports the development of effective, consistent communications for the business/group senior leader and for the leadership team. Responsibilities Include: Operational Management Is an active member of the senior leadership team Formulates, prepares and facilitates Leadership Team meetings- driving to desired outcome of team effectiveness Manages coordination and integration of cyclical and ad hoc division initiatives on behalf of the team, engaging in cross functional division forums to support communications and operational effectiveness Drives planning development and execution of Townhalls, Conferences Supports the monitoring and tracking of financial and FTE performance in support of the senior leader and addresses any issues Partners with the senior leader to develop and bring to life team strategy & team effectiveness - leads the strategy and goal setting process and prioritization, as well as proactively identifying opportunities to enforce and deliver on Communication Development & Support Develops communication roadmap for internal communications with calendar/cadence of critical touchpoints, internal forums, etc. to ensure optimal engagement of team Pens/creates communication pieces as part of this roadmap that help shape our culture, shares senior executives voice (written, video, other) and enables engagement with team Assists the senior leader in developing external voice and communication mechanisms and speaking materials Enable the Development of Our Team Will directly support the senior leader in activating and evolving Winning Culture within the team. Driving team behaviours and activities aligned to aspirational end state Supports building a workforce of the future - helps inform and drive learning strategy across the broader team Strategic Initiatives Leadership With utmost discretion, partners with the senior leader to drive confidential strategic work on high priority initiatives that is highly complexity- either in support of the People and Culture division or business groups within the portfolio Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements and develops roadmap for strategic execution to deliver on business goals Qualifications: Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation. Verbal & written communication skills - Expert. Analytical and problem-solving skills - Expert. Influence skills - Expert. Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - Expert. Able to manage ambiguity. Data driven decision making - Expert. Candor around what is required to maximize team and leader effectiveness Exceptional collaboration skills across the leadership team and across the broader People and Culture division - One Client mindset Salary : $86,000.00 - $160,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
