We support clients across homes, schools, longterm care facilities, and community settings throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We are intentional about who we partner with. This role is not about filling a caseload its about finding the right clinician fit. Our SpeechLanguage Pathologists value independence, flexibility, and highquality adult rehabilitation, while still having access to strong clinical and administrative support. Youll practice under the umbrella of a wellestablished, accredited organization, while maintaining autonomy in your daytoday communitybased work. Caseload Overview We are currently recruiting for two full timeSpeechLanguage Pathologists to support an paediatric community caseload funded through Children's Treatment Network. Services are delivered in publicly funded schools. You will have the opportunity to: Accept referrals that align with your availability, geography, and clinical interests Build a caseload at a pace that works for you Why SpeechLanguage Pathologists Choose 1to1 Rehab Our independent contractor model is intentionally designed for SLPs who want true flexibility without isolation. Control over caseload and schedule accept or decline referrals based on fit and capacity Flexible scheduling that supports worklife balance, family commitments, or other clinical work Paediatricfocused clinical support and mentorship, including consultation support for complex cases Clear clinical escalation pathways and risk support youre not on your own when complexity arises Strong administrative support, including scheduling, billing, and documentation assistance Mobilefriendly documentation systems, significantly reducing afterhours paperwork A sense of community and connection, even while working independently in the community Many clinicians tell us they value the independence of contracting but stay with 1to1 because independent doesnt mean isolated here . What Youll Be Doing Deliver CTNauthorized SchoolBased Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) in publicly funded schools Complete functional speech and language assessments related to school participation Provide timelimited, consultative interventions using SBRS best practices Collaborate with educators, families, and other SBRS providers (OT, PT) Develop and share practical strategies to support communication in the classroom Complete required documentation and reporting in accordance with CTN, MCCSS, and CASLPO standards Support transitions and discharge planning once SBRS goals are achieved Qualifications Masters Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology Registration in good standing with CASLPO Experience working with paediatric populations preferred (but not required) Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities Professional liability insurance Access to a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last year) Who This Role Is WellSuited For This role is ideal for SpeechLanguage Pathologists who: Want flexible, referralbased work alongside other professional commitments Value clinical autonomy while still appreciating access to mentorship and support Enjoy community practice and functional, meaningful rehabilitation Want flexibility thats real not just promised Use of AI in Recruitment Please note that AIassisted tools may be used to support consistency and efficiency in parts of the recruitment process.
