Job Description:
Project Management and Planning Specialists support SHA’s Infrastructure Management portfolio by providing end to end planning and project management services for projects ranging from $200,000 to $100M+. They collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to deliver services including scope and feasibility development, budgeting and estimating, scheduling, risk analysis, design and drawing reviews, infection control planning, commissioning, reporting, approvals, and financial tracking. The role ensures user, clinical, and operational requirements are translated into functional designs and construction documents. Specialists act as the primary liaison between management, physicians, user groups, and project teams, lead construction projects, represent the owner on site, oversee inspections and meetings, review construction work, and maintain project and contract records to support high quality, client centred service delivery.

Education
Project Management certificate
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Architectural Engineering
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Interior Design
Bachelor of Architecture (BArch)
Licenses
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Facilities Engineering Technology
Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
