Position Summary
UJA Federation of Greater Toronto is seeking a dynamic, relationship-oriented, and results-driven Specialist, Annual Campaign to support the planning, execution, and growth of UJA's Annual Campaign.
Reporting to the Annual Campaign team, the Specialist will play a key role in advancing fundraising priorities through donor engagement, stewardship, portfolio management, campaign execution, and strategic project leadership. Working closely with fundraising professionals, lay leaders, volunteers, and donors, the Specialist will help strengthen donor relationships, identify engagement opportunities, support solicitation strategies, and contribute to the achievement of annual fundraising goals.
The successful candidate will bring strong project management skills, fundraising acumen, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. This role requires a proactive professional who is passionate about philanthropy, community impact, and delivering an exceptional donor experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of Annual Campaign fundraising strategies and initiatives.
Manage and support a portfolio of donors and prospects, assisting with cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention activities.
Partner with fundraising professionals and volunteer leaders to advance donor engagement plans and campaign objectives.
Identify opportunities to increase donor participation, donor upgrades, and pipeline development.
Support moves management processes by tracking donor interactions, next steps, and fundraising outcomes.
Prepare donor briefings, solicitation materials, proposals, stewardship reports, and meeting materials.
Coordinate and support donor stewardship and recognition initiatives to deliver an exceptional donor experience.
Maintain accurate donor records and activity tracking within Salesforce.
Prepare reports, dashboards, analyses, and tracking tools to support fundraising strategies and campaign performance.
Assist with the planning and execution of donor events, receptions, parlor meetings, and engagement programs.
Coordinate event logistics, registrations, communications, materials, and post-event follow-up.
Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners.
Qualifications:
Postsecondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 35 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, philanthropy, project management, or a related field.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience working with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform is required.
Strong analytical skills with experience working with fundraising data, reporting, and performance metrics.
Experience within a nonprofit, fundraising, philanthropic, or donor-facing environment is considered a strong asset.
This is a full-time permanent position.Union Level 4.Salary range:$62,00-$67,000 annually, based on experience.At UJA we support a flexible work schedule andall ofour employees engage in hybrid work.
