SPAN 112-991 - Introductory Spanish II – Fall 2026 – Face to Face This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach Introductory Spanish II (SPAN 112) during Fall 2026. The instructor will deliver the course on campus face-to-face on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM and is expected to hold one office hour per week. Responsibilities Deliver the course content according to the approved syllabus and learning outcomes. Create and grade assignments, exams, and other learning artifacts. Prepare course materials and maintain relevant administrative documents. Hold one weekly office hour for student support. Participate in departmental meetings and fulfill any additional duties required of a sessional lecturer. Qualifications At least a B.A. in a related discipline. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English. Experience and evidence of teaching ability at the university level. Preference will be given to candidates with more teaching experience in the area. Legally entitled to work in Canada; the work must be performed within Canada.
