Software Engineering Manager at Glocomms — NeverHard

You'll sit at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and people leadership, with real ownership over both technical direction and team growth. Responsibilities Leading and mentoring engineers while driving performance, engagement, and career growth Partnering closely with architects on system design and code quality across C++ and C# environments Owning roadmaps and translating business needs into clear technical execution Modernizing tooling, reducing technical debt, and improving development workflows Championing Agile practices and keeping teams focused on high-impact delivery Qualifications 8+ years in software engineering with strong depth in C++ and/or C# 3+ years managing engineering teams Experience building and scaling complex applications in cloud or on-prem environments Strong system design skills and ability to operate at both high-level and deep technical detail Solid understanding of CI/CD, automation, and modern DevOps practices Nice to Have Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices Experience with video, streaming, or real-time systems is a plus Why this role stands out You're building technology that actually gets used in critical, real-world scenarios.
