Software Development Team Lead to lead development of entire application and perform peer reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work 14279, 14321 3 times a week on site (downtown Toronto) Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 8+ years of experience with software engineering 3+ years of experience with NodeJS + Typescript 3+ years of experience with React 2+ years of experience in team leadership role 2+ years of experience developing and deploying application to run on AWS infrastructure 2+ years of experience working with various AWS services. Must have strong understanding of multiple AWS services and how to deploy/monitor them. Strong skills developing server-side applications using Node.js frameworks such as or similar to NestJS/Hono Experience with source code management such as GIT Strongskills with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL) Experience working with Agile teams Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
