Job Title: Software Developer (React, TypeScript, 3D Design, Node/NPM & AI Coding Tools) Location: Hybrid (3 days remote), Toronto, Canada Experience: 5+ Years Job Type: T4 Contract Rate: CAD 45 to 50 per hour Role Summary We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on a software platform focused on modern web development and cross-platform experiences. The role involves building reliable solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, 3D Design, Redux, Node.js , and NPM while collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and design teams. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and stable software Build and maintain web-based solutions that support cross-platform development and experiences Participate in software design and code reviews Develop task estimates, evaluate risks, and identify dependencies to support project planning Work collaboratively with software engineers, QA professionals, and designers across Toronto and other engineering locations. Contribute to discussions around software architecture and design Support the development of solutions that deliver a high-quality customer experience Work as part of a collaborative engineering team to achieve shared technical and product goals Must-Have Skills 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field. Strong programming, debugging , and problem - solving skills Hands-on professional experience developing production software with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor , or GitHub Copilot as part of a daily development workflow Professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for client-side web development Hands-on experience with React and Redux frameworks Experience working with 3D design or Fusion 360 engineering, or product development software Experience working with Node and NPM Experience with web-based technologies, concepts, and development constructs Strong interest in software architecture and design Experience with Git and GitHub for source control Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering and cross-functional teams Commitment to continuous technical and professional development Commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience Nice-to-Have Skills Experience developing web applications using modular and componentized approaches Experience working with Agile methodology Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Familiarity with test automation tools and strategies Interested in this opportunity?
