The Astana International Financial Centre Authority is seeking a creative, proactive, and results-oriented Social Media Manager (SMM) to strengthen its digital presence and engagement across key social media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven social media strategies, creating compelling multilingual content, managing social media campaigns, and enhancing AIFC's reputation and visibility among local and international audiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement AIFC’s social media strategy in line with corporate communications, public relations, and business objectives. Manage and grow AIFC’s presence across social media platforms, including Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Create, curate, and publish engaging multilingual content, including text, graphics, videos, and other digital formats, while maintaining editorial calendars and content plans. Coordinate content production with internal stakeholders, designers, videographers, copywriters, and external service providers. Ensure all content complies with AIFC’s brand guidelines, communication standards, and tone of voice. Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budget management, and performance tracking. Monitor social media performance, prepare reports, provide actionable insights, and identify opportunities to improve audience engagement and brand awareness. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to identify new content formats, digital tools, and platform features. Provide social media coverage of AIFC events, campaigns, announcements, and strategic initiatives, including live coverage when required. Monitor reputational risks, address sensitive issues appropriately, and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. Support other communications and digital initiatives as assigned by the Department Director or Line Manager. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media management, digital communications, content production, creative agencies, media organizations, or related fields. Proven experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, and campaign execution. Strong storytelling, copywriting, creative thinking, and audience engagement skills. Experience managing social media platforms, paid advertising campaigns, and performance analytics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and working knowledge of graphic design, content creation, and social media management tools. Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into effective content and campaign strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities, with the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Professional certifications or training in SMM, Digital Marketing, Personal Branding, Content Creation, Mobilography, or related disciplines are an advantage. Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English is required; knowledge of an additional foreign language (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, French) will be considered an asset.
