SOC 100-005 - Introduction to Sociology - Fall 2026 - Saskatoon Face-to-Face
This sessional lecturer position will teach the course “SOC 100: Introduction to Sociology” during the Fall 2026 session in Saskatoon. The class meets Mondays from 08:30 to 11:15 a.m. The lecturer is expected to conduct classroom instruction, facilitate discussions, provide feedback on assignments, and hold one office hour per week. Prior preparation and grading after the term may be required.
Position Requirements
M.A. in Sociology or a related social science field required; Ph.D. preferred.
Demonstrated competence in teaching the subject matter.
Successful university‑level teaching experience.
Work Hours / Course Modality
Faculty Sessional; salary range per URFA Collective Agreement. Face‑to‑face in Saskatoon; course dates September 1 – December 7, 2026 (or until December 31, 2026 for a temporary term).
