The Role We are currently recruiting for 2 Skilled Labourers to support our Midstream client in Conklin, AB. Shift: 10 and 4, 10 hours per day Start Date: May 28, 2026 This project is estimated to be 6 weeks in duration. Compensation/Benefits • Wages range based on experience • Overtime at 1.5 x after 8 hours per day • 10% vacation and stat pay on all regular hours worked • Benefits 50/50 split after 90 days with the company Job Duties/Responsibilities Complete tasks in line with OCL and industry standards, procedures and practices Assist skilled trades as required Operate basic hand and power tools safety and effectively Set up and dismantle temporary structures, barricades and safety fencing if required Perform spotting and flagging duties when required Read and understand site-specific instructions prior to each shift Site cleaning and preparation Digging and trenching Maintain a clean and organized work area / job site Participate in daily toolbox meetings Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Other duties as assigned Skills/Experience/Qualifications Previous experience working as a Skilled Labourer in industrial construction environments Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and hazard awareness Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labour (lifting up to 50lbs, bending, standing and working in various weather conditions) Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract. Ensure a safe team environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive and reliable work ethic Strong communication skills. Ability to follow and understand instructions given. Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract Must have the following safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, CSTS 2020 (or equivalent), H2S Alive Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Must be legally eligible to work in Canada OCL Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
