The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced, reliable and hard-working Skilled Labourers to jjoin our team on a 14/14 rotation at Kearl Oil Sands. This is a fly in / fly out role with flights provided from either Edmonton or Calgary with flight allowances based in on the province located.

Compensation/Benefits
CLAC hourly wages
Payday is every Friday
Company contributed RRSP & Pension contributions
Benefits after 300 hours
Paid training
10% vacation and stat holiday pay on regular earnings
OT at 1.5 after 8 hours per day
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Complete tasks in line with OCL and industry standards, procedures and practices
Assist skilled trades as required
Operate basic hand and power tools safety and effectively
Perform spotting and flagging duties when required
Read and understand site-specific instructions prior to each shift
Site cleaning and preparation
Maintain a clean and organized work area / job site
Participate in daily toolbox meetings
Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Previous experience working as a Skilled Labourer in industrial construction environments
Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools
Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and hazard awareness
Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labour (lifting up to 50lbs, bending, standing and working in various weather conditions)
Ensure a safe team environment. Strong teamwork skills with a positive and reliable work ethic
Strong communication skills. Ability to follow and understand instructions given.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Must have the following safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, CSTS 2020 (or equivalent), H2S Alive is an asset
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Must be willing to complete a criminal background check
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
