Erosion Control Central is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing construction team in Edmonton. This role is focused on final grading and loaming, as well as erosion and sediment control installations. What You’ll Be Doing Operate a skid steer for residential grading and loaming Fine grading for new home lots Operate Bobcat mini skid steer (463 / S70) (strong asset) Mark and check grades accurately Direct truck traffic and coordinate material placement Work safely and efficiently on active residential construction sites Installation and Maintenance of ESC measures Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, grading surfaces, and ensuring proper placement of erosion control materials. Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently. Site Clean-Up: Perform site clean-up tasks, including removing leftover materials and ensuring the site is left in a clean and safe condition after project completion. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow crew members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to specifications. Documentation: Ensure accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and compliance reports.
