Skid Steer Operator
Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced
Skid Steer Operator
to join our team in Edmonton.

Duties include:
Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently on underground water and sewer projects.
Load, move, and distribute materials around active construction sites.
Assist with excavation support, backfilling, grading, site cleanup, and material handling.
Work safely in close proximity to existing underground utilities and ground personnel.
Operate equipment in residential, commercial, and other congested work environments.
Perform finish grading and final site preparation to project specifications.
Complete daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance requirements.
Promote, follow, and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform all work safely while maintaining high quality standards and productivity.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity.
Required Skills:
Minimum of
3 years of skid steer operating experience
.
Experience working on underground water and sewer projects is preferred.
Experience working in congested residential and commercial environments.
Finish grading experience is required.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work independently while following direction from the Superintendent or Foreman.
Experience operating additional heavy equipment is considered an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

WHMIS 2015
