Construction | Infrastructure, projects and operations | Permanent – Full-time Site Supervisor Lead projects from A to Z and mobilize field teams Key Information Job Title: Site Supervisor Location: La Tuque and Trois Rivière, Quebec Job Type: Permanent – Full-time Work Mode: On-site Schedule: 40 hours per week Join an organization in the construction sector that carries out work on various sites and focuses on rigorous, safe execution and customer satisfaction. In this field role, you will be at the heart of planning, coordinating, and daily monitoring of work. You will supervise teams and directly contribute to meeting deadlines, execution quality, and operational safety. Responsibilities — deliver safe, compliant, and timely projects Plan, supervise, and coordinate site activities to ensure proper execution of work according to established timelines. Guide field teams, including laborers, industrial mechanics, and welders, by clearly establishing priorities, directives, and steps for completion. Ensure the availability of resources and materials by identifying equipment, tools, and consumables needs, then forwarding requisitions to the purchasing manager. Lead operational meetings with teams and provide technical support, advice, training, and necessary directives for work execution. Apply and enforce health and safety requirements, including the use of PPE, and plan safety breaks with the site safety manager according to the established frequency. Daily monitor project progress with the estimator-project manager, produce daily reports related to hours and resources, and, when required, have reports approved by the client. Manage operational issues encountered on sites, implement corrective measures within your responsibility, and recommend appropriate actions when financial impacts are possible. Desired Profile — field experience and leadership Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar site functions. DEC in mechanical engineering or a combination of relevant training and experience related to the position. General Health and Safety card on construction sites (ASP Construction). Valid driver's license. Mobilizing leadership and strong interpersonal skills to guide and lead a team. Strong orientation towards health and safety at work and ability to maintain high standards of rigor on-site. Ability to communicate clearly, organize work, and effectively manage priorities, even when deadlines are tight.
