Site Superintendent – Industrial & Commercial Construction
Mississauga/Brampton, Ontario
Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
Weekends - must be able to work weekends.
( This role will require the candidate to be available for weekend work ) There will be time off during the week, but they need weekend coverage
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Site Superintendent
to support the successful delivery of industrial and commercial construction projects in the Mississauga-Brampton, ON region. This role is ideal for a candidate who has participated in
at least one full-cycle construction project
(from ground-up through closeout) and is looking to grow within a dynamic construction team.
The Site Superintendent will work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Management team to coordinate daily site operations, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing all on-site construction activities for industrial and commercial projects
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient workflow
Monitor project schedules and help drive progress to meet milestones and deadlines
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including conducting site safety meetings and inspections
Maintain daily site reports, logs, and documentation
Support quality control processes and ensure work meets project specifications and standards
Assist with site logistics, material deliveries, and inventory tracking
Help identify and resolve site issues, conflicts, and delays proactively
Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be able to work weekends
Minimum
3–5 years of construction experience
in industrial and/or commercial projects
Must have
completed at least one full-cycle construction project
(ground-up to closeout)
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and site coordination
Knowledge of Ontario building codes and health & safety regulations (OHSA)
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) is an asset
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites within the London area
