Discover Impactful Work: Under the direction of HR leadership, you will manage day-to-day Human Resources functions in support of our Operations and Engineering teams. This includes employee relations, recruiting and selection, HR compliance, onboarding, training and development, compensation, and performance management within a fast-paced CDMO environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine tasks to administer and implement HR functional initiatives Provide HR support and coaching to mid-level managers within Operations and Engineering on HR policies, processes, people management, and career development Counsel and coach employees and managers on employee relations matters, including performance management and resolution of formal/informal concerns Drive effective talent management, including recruitment strategies to support organizational growth in Operations and Engineering Partner with managers to assess and address training needs, supporting continuous skill development in technical and operational roles Collaborate with site leadership, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and functional leaders to deliver HR programs and drive employee engagement Ensure compliance with applicable country, state, and federal employment laws and HR policies Partner with country HR leaders to support benefits and policy harmonization, working closely with COEs to implement HR programs and initiatives Perform other duties as assigned . Education Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field Experience 2+ years of HR work experience Knowledge and Complexity of Role Demonstrated experience across key HR disciplines (staffing, compensation, employee relations) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS/reporting systems Strong collaboration skills with a results-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering an excellent employee experience Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Effective influencing skills and ability to build strong professional relationships Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and manage multiple priorities Demonstrates Thermo Fisher Scientific values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement Ability to interpret and apply employment laws, regulations, and policies. Compensation The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $69,400.00–$104,000.00.
