Job DescriptionJob Description Shunt Truck Driver – GZ/DZ/AZ On-Call Vacation & Call-In Coverage We are currently hiring an On-call Shunt Truck Driver , based out of Ancaster , ON , providing vacation and call-in coverage as needed. This role is ideal for drivers who are flexible and available to work varying schedules. Current operating hours are 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM , with afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend shifts . What we offer: Vacation and call-in coverage opportunity Based in Ancaster , ON Current operating hours: 8-12 hour shifts We also pay on Incorporation Base pay: $24.00/hour Additional shift premiums for afternoon shifts and weekend work What you do: Safely move trailers within the yard and position them at dock doors Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse personnel for trailer movements Maintain accurate trailer movement records Follow all company safety policies and procedures What We're Looking For: Valid GZ, DZ, or AZ Licence with previous yard shunting experience Clean Driver Abstract and CVOR Ability to work flexible schedules on short notice Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently Clean criminal background check If this sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to apply today or call 905-279-9000!
