Job DescriptionJob Description South Trail Nissan is hiring a Parts Shipper/Receiver to join their team of professionals! As the Parts Shipper/Receiver, you play a key role in the efficient processing of all inbound and outbound parts shipments and maintaining accurate electronic records. Lucrative pay plan Comprehensive Health Benefits Plan RRSP Matching Program Forward thinking work environment Employee discounts for you and your family A part of McManes Automotive Responsibilities: Determine the appropriate shipping method utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates Verify information on bills of invoices, orders, and other records by counting, weighing, or measuring items for both incoming and outgoing shipments Affix shipping labels or stencils Identify information on packed cartons, including weight and shipping charges Insert items into containers with metal tape, using strapping machine and mail covers on wooden crates Unload and examine incoming shipments, record shortages, and put aside damaged items, correct damages and shortages Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing orders Maintain inventory of shipping material and supplies Accept unsold products returned by the Parts Driver Organize and display stock attractively Manage the pickup and delivery of tires from required stores Organize and Maintain the Tire Storage Assist with phones in the Parts Department when the front counter is busy Requirements: Able to work efficiently and accurately Able to maintain a neat and orderly warehouse Effective inventory management Organizational skills Minimum of 1-3 years of parts shipping/receiving experience General understanding of automotive parts PBS software experience is an asset Positive attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must wear CSA approved steel toed shoes Able to lift objects that are over 50 lbs.
