Shipper & Receiver Stayner, ON Monday to Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Straight Day Shift Starting Wage: $21.50/hour Permanent Opportunity After 6 Months Are you an experienced Shipper & Receiver looking for a stable day shift with a growing company? We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional to join our team in a regulated cannabis manufacturing environment. This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent daytime hours and the potential to move into a permanent position following successful completion of the probationary period. What We Offer Straight day shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday to Friday schedule Starting wage of $21.50/hour Opportunity for permanent employment after 6 months Safety-focused workplace Supportive team environment Growing and dynamic industry What You'll Do Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying product quantities and documentation accuracy Create pick lists and coordinate order preparation Prepare outgoing shipments to customer and company standards Complete shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, placards, MPLs, and system transactions Safely load and unload trucks Operate forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment Troubleshoot shipping, receiving, and documentation discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Promote and support a strong health and safety culture Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of shipping and receiving experience Experience working in a regulated industry is considered an asset Valid forklift certification Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to provide a clear criminal background check Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
