Job DescriptionJob Description Title: Shallow Utility Construction Foreman Reports to: OSP Construction Manager Last Reviewed: Today Overview: Shallow Utility Construction Foreman Is responsible coordination and management of telecommunications infrastructure construction projects. With deep industry knowledge and extensive construction experience, this role ensures projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities: • Project Leadership: Direct and supervise construction activities by establishing clear goals, ensuring teams understand and adhere to company standards. • Safety Compliance: Champion a culture of safety by implementing industry best practices, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and promoting safety awareness among team members. • Budget & Resource Management: Ensure the optimal utilization of resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, while ensuring projects are executed within the allocated budget. • Continuous Improvement: Engage in regular assessment and optimization of construction processes, introducing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency without compromising on quality. • Team Supervision: Provide supervision and guidance to construction teams as necessary to complete builds successfully. Maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: 1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within the telecommunications construction industry. Proven track record of successfully completed large-scale projects. Experience should Include the following, FTTP, long haul plow, streetlighting, pre-cast structures, daylighting, turn-key client builds, repair, bore logs, as builds and reporting standards. 2. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. In-depth understanding of construction processes, tools, and methodologies. Proficient in project management software and telecommunications-specific tools. 3. Attributes: Excellent problem-solving capabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
