The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and dispatching service technicians, managing inbound service calls and emails, coordinating appointments, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and field personnel. This role ensures efficient service delivery by tracking ongoing jobs, resolving issues, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support, including light shipping and receiving duties.
Key Responsibilities
Client Liaison: Service coordinators act as the primary point of contact for clients, helping them navigate services and ensuring their needs are met. They assess client requirements and coordinate appropriate services
Scheduling and Coordination: They manage schedules for service delivery, ensuring that clients receive timely assistance. This includes coordinating appointments and overseeing service delivery processes
Monitoring and Reporting: Service coordinators monitor the progress of services provided to clients, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to management as needed
Problem Solving: They address any issues that arise during service delivery, working to resolve conflicts and improve service quality
Light Shipping/ Receiving duties.
Other administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with clients and service providers
Organizational Skills: Service coordinators must be highly organized to manage multiple clients and services simultaneously
Compassion and Empathy: Given that service coordinators often work with individuals in challenging situations, having a compassionate approach is crucial
Problem-Solving Abilities: They should be adept at identifying issues and developing solutions to enhance service delivery
