Atmosphere Sound Floor Solutions Ltd (Sound Floors) is a growing gypsum underlayment installation company that has served British Columbia since 2017 as a division of Atmosphere Flooring Solutions (served BC since 2003). As a member of the Sound Floors team, you will be part of a group of dedicated people that provides exceptional services in all aspects of the flooring and gypsum underlay industry.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support daily field operations, coordinate logistics activities, and provide administrative assistance to ensure the efficient flow of business operations. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities may include but are not be limited to:
Field & Logistics Coordination
Provide administrative support for field personnel and operational activities.
Coordinate and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments.
Track deliveries and ensure the timely transportation of goods and materials.
Prepare shipping documentation, delivery records, and related logistics paperwork.
Maintain accurate inventory, warehouse, and logistics records.
Resolve shipping delays, discrepancies, and transportation issues.
Assist with warehouse coordination and stock management activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative assistance to management and staff.
Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional manner.
Schedule transportation, accommodations, and travel arrangements as required.
Maintain organized filing systems and company records.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and perform data entry tasks.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in logistics, administration, or office coordination preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Diploma or certification in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
One to three years of relevant work experience preferred.
