Server/Waitstaff at Fox Den Country Club — NeverHard

Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, TN has renovated and reopened one of its restaurants and is looking for servers/waitstaff to join our team. We offer better than industry hourly pay plus an auto service charge/gratuity. Our servers make well above comparable jobs. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. Essential Responsibilities: As a Server Participate in dining room set-up . Greets members and distributes menus if not all ready in hand. Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating. Takes members food and beverage orders and place orders in the POS. Prepares proper condiments for servicing the meal. Serves the meals; place dishes by course in front of each person serving from the left with the left hand and serving all beverages from the right with the right hand. Checks back to ensure member satisfaction; replenish beverages as necessary. Removes soiled dishes; carries loaded trays to the dish room. Suggest and serve desserts, coffees, and after dinner drinks. Knows all menu items including specials, buffets and prices. Presents the bill to the member. Assures all tables are set-up properly. Keeps tables, dining room and wait station areas clean. Advises manager of any complaints as soon as they occur. Performs clean-up and closing duties. Turns in closed check report and checks with manager. Attends line up meetings before each shift. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This position requires one to have an acute knowledge of service techniques The Servers must be positive at all times, be self-motivated and self-managing, efficient in time management and decision-making. Education, Certification/License and Experience: Must have ABC Liquor License Working Conditions/Environment: Position requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk. Lifting and carrying items up to 10 pounds is necessary and lifting up to 25 pounds is required occasionally. Position pays $7.25/hr base wage plus auto service charge and additional tips.
