About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Executive Risk Insurance specializing within the financial institution sector. The Senior Vice President will manage and grow our book of business, develop new opportunities, and provide exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a business plan to grow the book of business for financial institutions. Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to clients on complex property and casualty insurance solutions, including coverage for D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Cyber Risk, Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, and Property & Business Interruption. Lead the team in marketing and underwriting risks to ensure profitability and growth objectives are met. Manage client relationships and collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide innovative risk‑mitigation solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders—product development, claims, and risk engineering—to drive profitable growth. Monitor market trends, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the brand and establish thought leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional insurance designation preferred. Minimum 15 years of experience in complex property and casualty insurance, focusing on financial institutions. Strong understanding of the insurance needs of banks, credit unions, and investment firms. Proven success in developing and executing a business plan to grow a book of business. Excellent client relationship development and maintenance skills. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of motivating and managing teams. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to implement innovative risk‑mitigation solutions. Knowledge of underwriting principles and pricing methodology. Active participation in industry associations and professional organizations.
