As a
Senior Telecom Engineer
, you will play a key technical leadership role in the delivery of mission-critical telecommunications systems across a variety of projects for CIMA+’s key clients. Our telecommunications team works with industrial and public-sector clients across power utilities, energy, transportation, telecommunications carriers, and other critical infrastructure sectors.
You will lead and contribute to system architecture, design, and implementation; coordinate technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines; provide technical guidance to project teams; and work directly with clients to develop practical, reliable, and resilient telecommunications solutions across a broad range of wired and wireless applications.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to telecommunications engineering work packages, system architecture and detailed design for complex projects.
Develop design criteria, network architectures, schematics, block diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and other engineering deliverables.
Prepare and review technical specifications, design reports, calculations, bills of materials, inspection and testing procedures, and procurement documentation.
Lead or participate in technical design reviews and evaluate technology options, equipment selections and system performance requirements.
Coordinate telecommunications interfaces with protection and control, SCADA/automation, cybersecurity, electrical, civil/structural and other engineering disciplines.
Engage directly with clients to define requirements, present recommendations, resolve technical issues, and support project decision-making.
Prepare project scopes, proposals, work plans, estimates, schedules and budgets, and support business development activities.
Provide technical guidance, review and mentoring to Engineers, EITs, technical professionals and designers.
Support procurement, vendor reviews, FAT/SAT, installation, testing, commissioning and field activities, including responses to site RFIs and preparation of record documentation.
Act as technical lead and, where assigned and appropriately registered, take professional responsibility for engineering deliverables in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
