Job DescriptionJob Description Description Synergy Projects is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a $20M long-term care facility project in the Standoff area. This individual will serve as the lead Superintendent on site, overseeing safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, staffing forecasts, budgeting, and project execution from mobilization through turnover. The successful candidate will be based out of Calgary and have flexibility to support future projects throughout Southern Alberta. Skills Commercial construction, Construction supervision, General contractor, Subcontractor management, Safety, Superintedent, autodesk, first aid certified, skid steer Top Skills Details Commercial construction,Construction supervision,General contractor,Subcontractor management,Safety,Superintedent Additional Skills & Qualifications MUST HAVE• 10-15+ years of Superintendent experience with a Commercial General Contractor.• Experience leading projects valued at $15M-$20M+.• Experience managing projects from site mobilization through project turnover.• Strong background in commercial construction projects.• Experience leading subcontractor meetings, site coordination, safety, quality, and schedule execution.• Proven ability to manage staffing forecasts, labor planning, and project budgets.• Experience working closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers.• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspections, and project closeout documentation.• LSE (Leadership for Safety Excellence) certification or ability to obtain.• Supervisory Training Program (STP) certification or equivalent.NICE TO HAVE• Experience on healthcare or long-term care facility projects.• Autodesk Construction Cloud experience or Procore experience.• First Aid Certification.• Equipment certifications (Skid Steer, etc.) for supervisory purposes.• Experience supporting projects throughout Alberta in both urban and rural environments.SOFT SKILLS • Strong team-first mentality and collaborative leadership style.• Low-ego, relationship-focused approach.• Ability to work constructively with PMs, field teams, trades, clients, and consultants.• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.• Capable of operating independently without requiring significant oversight.• Ability to build positive site culture and mentor junior personnel. Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Edmonton, AB. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
