Senior Solution Architect (BBBH11983) Toronto, Canada Our client is searching for a Hybrid, Contract Senior Solution Architect. The role is as follows: Design and deliver scalable, secure, high-performance solution architectures and the migration of applications from on premises to AWS. You will own end-to-end designs, drive architecture governance, and translate quant and capital-markets requirements into developer-grade architecture artefacts. Key responsibilities Design end-to-end solution architectures across AWS (ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Lambda, Glue, S3), Snowflake, MWAA and dbt, and the integrations between them Lead the migration design for the seven in-scope applications from on-premises to the AWS target state Partner with business and BSA teams to translate requirements into architecture designs Author high-level and detailed design (HLD/LLD) and the Detailed Design Document; lead architecture reviews and uphold standards through the ARB Ensure security, scalability and reliability across all solutions Use AI tools to analyse legacy code and documents and to generate architecture artefacts (diagrams, specs, backlogs) Required skills & experience 8+ years in solution architecture or senior engineering roles Strong hands-on AWS experience (ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Lambda, Glue, S3, RDS, KMS, Secrets Manager) Hands-on data architecture experience, including secure data sharing and row-level security Experience with MWAA / Apache Airflow orchestration and dbt transformation patterns Identity & access design with OIDC / OAuth 2.0 / JWT Proven on-premises-to-cloud application migration experience Strong integration-pattern and enterprise-systems knowledge; DevOps and CI/CD familiarity Demonstrated use of AI tools to analyse code/docs and create architecture artefacts Nice to have Capital Markets / Asset Management domain exposure #J-18808-Ljbffr
