OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We're looking for experienced Solution Architects to design and guide the delivery of complex, integrated solutions on Microsoft Azure. These roles are hands-on and delivery-focused, requiring strong technical depth alongside the ability to align business goals with scalable, secure architectures.
You will play a key role in a large-scale healthcare transformation program, ensuring interoperability and cohesion across applications, data, and integration layers.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
Design end-to-end solution architectures across application, data, and integration domains in Azure
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions
Define target architectures, transition states, and technical roadmaps
Lead architecture decisions across multi-system, highly integrated environments
Ensure alignment across application, data, security, and infrastructure architectures
Drive API-first design and integration strategies, ensuring interoperability between systems
Guide delivery teams, providing hands-on architectural oversight while enabling developers and engineers
Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical domains to ensure alignment and clarity
Embed security, privacy, and compliance considerations into all solution designs
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience leading large-scale solution architecture initiatives within complex enterprise environments
Strong experience designing end-to-end solutions in Microsoft Azure
Deep understanding of:
API-first design
Integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven)
Interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7)
Hands-on experience with key Azure services such as:
API Management
App Services
Azure Functions
Event Hub/messaging services
Experience defining solution architecture, roadmaps, and transition states
Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance, especially in regulated environments
Ability to work closely with delivery teams while maintaining architectural oversight
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare or public sector transformation programs
Familiarity with Power Platform and when to use low-code vs custom development
Exposure to event-driven and microservices architectures
