Job Description Our SaaS client is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a team building complex engineering software used for large-scale infrastructure projects.This is a hands-on senior engineering role for someone who is very strong in C++ and C# and can own features from design through development, testing, and production support. The person should also be comfortable making technical design decisions, reviewing code, and mentoring other developers. Skills and Requirements 8+ years of professional software development experience Strong hands-on development experience with C++ AND C# Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns Experience building complex, production-level software applications Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Experience with unit and integration testing Ability to take technical ownership of features from design through delivery Experience with code reviews and mentoring other developers Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Able to work 3 days/week onsite in Quebec City Experience developing desktop applications or engineering/design software Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework, and related Microsoft technologies JavaScript and/or TypeScript Cloud-connected applications or service-oriented architecture CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
