What is the Opportunity?
As a Senior Scrum Master in the Home Equity Finance (HEF) IT team in Personal Credit Technology, you will lead a large, multi-year re-platforming program in support of the HEF business. You will facilitate complex, high-impact initiatives by leveraging advanced knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery principles. You will manage cross-functional dependencies, drive teams to deliver business outcomes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to balance Agile flexibility with strong project governance and a multi-year delivery roadmap in a fast-paced, large-enterprise environment.
What Will You Do?
Facilitate applicable Scrum ceremonies while owning project scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder deliverables; balance team enablement with delivery accountability
Empower teams to self-organize while ensuring delivery commitments are met
Own sprint planning aligned to project milestones; track project-level progress, risks, and dependencies; ensure the team delivers against committed timelines and quality standards
Manage upward communication on project status and risks; coordinate with other teams and external stakeholders; secure resources and resolve organizational blockers that impact delivery
Run retrospectives to improve team velocity and process; adapt project approach as needed; balance Agile flexibility with project governance and predictability requirements
What Do You Need to Succeed?
10+ years of experience in IT delivery with a proven track record in Agile/Scrum environments
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business)
Strong leadership skills—ability to influence, mentor, and drive teams toward high performance
Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation-ready for diverse stakeholders
Analytical and problem-solving expertise—ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
Large Financial Institution enterprise experience—familiarity with structured environments and governance frameworks
Proven track record delivering large-scale technology programs
Nice to Have
Exposure to or understanding of AI in the delivery lifecycle
PMP certification
Experience working with or in support of the Retail Credit business
