Position SummaryScrum Mastery & Delivery Facilitation
Serve as Scrum Master for one or more enterprise project teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks to protect sprint commitments and delivery timelines.
Maintain and optimize team backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners and business stakeholders, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and delivery-ready.
Track and communicate sprint velocity, burndown, and other delivery metrics to provide transparency on team progress and capacity.
Facilitate cross-team coordination and alignment where projects span multiple workstreams or functional areas.
Agile Coaching & Capability Building
Coach team members, project managers, and business stakeholders in Agile principles, mindset, and practices — meeting people where they are on their Agile journey.
Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and lunch-and-learns to build Agile literacy and fluency across the EPMO and broader organization.
Partner with the Senior Director, EPMO & Technology to define and evolve the organization’s Agile delivery framework, tailoring practices to Crombie’s culture and operating context.
Assess team Agile maturity and develop targeted improvement roadmaps to progressively elevate capability and self-organization.
Champion Agile values — transparency, inspection, and adaptation — while pragmatically blending approaches (e.g., hybrid Agile-Waterfall) where required by project type or governance needs.
Continuous Improvement & Organizational Change
Facilitate and champion retrospectives at both the team and program level, turning insights into measurable action.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance delivery quality, cycle time, and team satisfaction.
Contribute to the development of EPMO standards, templates, and best practices for Agile delivery.
Build strong relationships across IT, Finance, Operations, and Development teams to foster a collaborative, cross-functional delivery culture.
Support change management efforts associated with new tools, processes, and ways of working.
Metrics, Reporting & Governance
Establish and maintain Agile delivery metrics and dashboards that provide actionable insight to leadership.
Support portfolio-level reporting by providing accurate sprint and release-level status updates to the EPMO.
Ensure Agile practices align with and complement existing enterprise governance and project management frameworks.
The profile we are looking for
7+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with at least 3 years in a Senior Scrum Master or Agile Coach capacity.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II), or equivalent Agile certification.
Demonstrated experience coaching teams and leaders through Agile transformation in mid-size or enterprise environments.
Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant-leadership skills.
Deep working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
Experience working in technology project delivery environments involving ERP, CRM, or enterprise platform implementations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or similar).
The Following Are Considered Assets
ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), SAFe Agilist (SA), or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
Experience in a regulated industry
Familiarity with Yardi, SAP, or similar platforms common in real estate operations.
Experience establishing Agile practices in organizations with limited prior Agile maturity (greenfield coaching).
Post-secondary education in Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
