Senior Project Manager On behalf of our insurance client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager for a permanent full-time role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Waterloo office. Senior Project Manager - Job Description The Senior Project Manager will oversee cross-departmental business and ITS-related projects in a diverse portfolio. The role involves managing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring alignment with business priorities and organizational goals. Senior Project Manager - Responsibilities Manage project scope, schedule, quality, budget, resources, and communication plans. Lead project meetings and oversee governance and dependency management. Identify, assess, document, and monitor project risks. Develop and escalate risk mitigation strategies. Provide regular project updates through governance forums. Manage change and competing demands, communicating adjustments to stakeholders. Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders and vendors. Manage and coordinate external vendors to meet deliverables and timelines. Champion organizational change and support new processes adoption. Monitor project financials, including forecasts, budgets, and variances. Senior Project Manager - Mandatory Skills Minimum of 8 years’ experience in insurance or financial services. University degree in a related field. Experience leading Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects. Proven experience managing budgets, customer expectations, and risks. Strong facilitation skills for workshops and planning sessions. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and rapid changes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Senior Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills PMP and Agile certification. Health and dental claims experience. Experience in environments with early-stage project processes. Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation. Problem-solving abilities. Senior Project Manager – Assignment Length This is a permanent position.
