SENIOR DESIGN LEAD
Location: Alberta (Calgary or Edmonton)
Compensation: $100,000 - 130,000 + Bonus
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are partnering with a highly respected, multidisciplinary design practice to identify a Senior Design Lead with expertise in Seniors Living and Continuing Care environments.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architect or Interior Designer who is passionate about creating environments that support aging in place, resident well-being, and quality care. Working within an integrated team of architects, interior designers, and technologists, you will play a key role in leading complex seniors living projects while helping shape and grow this important sector within the practice.
The successful candidate will provide leadership throughout the design and delivery process, acting as a trusted resource for clients, project teams, and stakeholders. While seniors living will be a primary focus, exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, and other residential project types will also form part of the role.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience within architecture, interior design, or an integrated design practice
Demonstrated experience leading Seniors Living, Continuing Care, Assisted Living, or Long-Term Care projects
Proven involvement in a minimum of three seniors living projects in a senior leadership, coordination, or project management capacity
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate consultants, stakeholders, and clients
Strong understanding of project delivery, design development, and construction documentation
Experience working within collaborative architecture and interior design environments
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Experience in multifamily, mixed-use, residential, or hospitality projects is considered an asset
Registration or eligibility for professional designation considered an asset
