We are looking for a highly creative, results-oriented Senior Product Manager – Technical for Prime Payments. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include managing roadmaps, priorities, and vision for Prime payment method expansion, unlocking member growth. This position offers high autonomy and the opportunity to define a three‑year charter, lead ideation, design, development, and ongoing management of Prime payments strategy. The role is inherently cross‑functional and requires working closely with engineering, project management, design, finance, legal, content optimization, executive teams, and country/regional operating teams to address growth opportunities worldwide. Key Job Responsibilities Deliver and execute on a three‑year vision for the global Prime payment charter. Develop product and solution requirements, launch new experiences and use‑cases, and lead expansion to global locales. Develop and share customer insights and market trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, surfacing trends early and providing data‑driven recommendations. A Day in the Life Improve Prime members’ payment experience. Act as a global payments leader, identifying opportunities across all Prime footprint countries. Partner closely with Prime (and external) Tech, UX, and other non‑tech teams to deliver effective payment solutions globally. Audit key metrics, draw insights to drive roadmap prioritization, and align with senior leadership. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of product, program, product marketing, business development, or technology experience. 5+ years of technical product or program management experience. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy. Experience managing technical products or online services. Experience advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning. Preferred Qualifications Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight. Master’s degree. Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers, or experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
