About the role
We are looking for a highly creative, results‑oriented Senior Product Manager – Technical for Prime Payments. The key day‑to‑day responsibility of this role includes managing roadmaps, priorities, and vision for Prime payment method expansion, unlocking member growth. This position will enjoy a high amount of autonomy and will act as a single‑threaded leader, defining the charter (three‑year plan) and leading ideation, design, development, and ongoing management of Prime payments strategy. The role is cross‑functional and requires close collaboration with engineering, project management, design, finance, legal, content optimisation, and executive teams, as well as country and regional operating teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and execute on a three‑year vision for the global Prime payment charter.
Develop product and solution requirements, launch new experiences and use‑cases, and lead expansion to global locales.
Develop and socialise customer insights and market trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, surfacing key trends and insights early and providing data‑driven recommendations.
A Day in the Life
Improve Prime members’ paying experience.
Act as a global payments leader, identifying opportunities across all Prime footprint countries worldwide.
Partner closely with Prime and external tech, UX, and other teams to deliver effective payment solutions globally.
Audit key metrics and draw insights to prioritise roadmap and drive alignment with senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of product or programme management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
5+ years of technical product or programme management experience.
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience managing technical products or online services.
Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritisation and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
Master’s degree.
Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers, or experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimisation of model execution.
