Senior Product Engineer at Minth North America, Inc. — NeverHard

Location: Windsor ON Duration: Full Time Perm We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our Engineering team and support the design and development of automotive body structures and battery housing systems. In this customer-facing role, you will lead product development from concept to production, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, manufacturability, and cost targets. Key Responsibilities Lead product design and development for BIW body structures and battery housing projects. Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA or NX. Collaborate with OEM customers and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready designs. Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, cost, safety, durability, and NVH. Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance stack-up analysis, interface reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, and GD&T activities. Manage engineering changes, technical documentation, and support prototype builds and production issue resolution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or a related Engineering discipline. 5+ years of experience in automotive body structure and/or battery enclosure design. Proficiency with CATIA or NX and strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5), DFMEA, and Control Plans. Experience with aluminum and/or high-strength steel structures; familiarity with extrusion, stamping, welding, riveting, or related manufacturing processes is preferred.
