Required skills:

Become a Senior Platform Engineer and build the infrastructure backbone of a next-generation AI compute platform at scale, with purpose, and with real ownership. This is a great opportunity to join a technically ambitious team where your work has direct, company-wide impact from day one. You will shape the observability, reliability, and platform engineering foundations that power large-scale, multi-tenant GPU compute environments. You will be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure technology. Join a team building GPU-powered infrastructure powered by 100% renewable energy. What & Why: A rapidly growing AI cloud infrastructure company is expanding its Platform Infrastructure Division and needs a Senior Platform Engineer to lead observability architecture and reliability engineering across large-scale distributed systems. This is a greenfield opportunity. You'll be designing and building the systems that define how a next-generation compute platform operates. The role is open because the platform is scaling fast and the team needs a technical expert who can grow with it. Who: Our client is a technology company operating at the intersection of high-performance computing and sustainable infrastructure, with facilities across North America. They build and run their own data centers and take a vertically integrated approach to delivering AI cloud services at scale. The engineering culture is pragmatic, fast-moving, and deeply invested in the quality and reliability of the systems that underpin daily operations. This hybrid role (3 days per week on-site) is based in downtown Vancouver but open to the right candidates outside of BC. They have a start-up culture that values inclusiveness and a proactive approach to overcoming new challenges. You: You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role: Must be able to work independently and navigate the challenges of a fast-paced start-up environment, focusing on finding solutions rather than just identifying problems. 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering Strong proficiency in Python or Go for platform tooling, automation, and API integration Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes — including operations, networking, storage, RBAC, and multi-tenant architecture Solid AWS background across core services (compute, container orchestration, object storage, IAM, networking, managed databases) Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and GitOps workflows Compensation: Up to $150,000 + competitive incentive program. Next Steps: If the sound of this opportunity excites you, and you’re confident that it’s a good fit for your experience and career goals, then we’d love to hear from you! Please send your updated resume to us by applying to this posting and one of our awesome team of recruiters will be in touch.
