Your Impact
Design and evaluate tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and water management systems that prioritize safety and sustainability
Guide geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations to inform critical project decisions
Provide strategic input on permitting, environmental planning, and risk management frameworks
Mentor and inspire junior and intermediate engineers to grow their expertise
Oversee projects from concept through execution, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Champion innovative waste management strategies and sustainable practices
Build strong client relationships and drive business development opportunities
Represent WSP in client engagements, regulatory discussions, and industry forums
The Skills That Set You Apart
10-15 years of experience in mine waste or geotechnical engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering
P.Eng. designation in Canada
Expertise in tailings dam design, closure planning, and risk-based decision-making
Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects
A passion for mentorship and advancing sustainable solutions

$135,200 - $179,100
MB & ON:
$123,300 - $169,800
Atlantic Provinces & QC:
$122,100 - $162,200
