About The Position Winnipeg, MB Senior Mechanical Engineer What You'll Do Assess and evaluate existing mechanical systems. Design mechanical building systems for renovation and new build projects. Collaborate with design team and mentor design staff to produce schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget. Prepare equipment specification packages and technical project deliverables, reports, and presentations. Collaborate with in‑house and external design consultants to ensure overall successful project delivery. Oversee development of design concepts and ensure proper application and execution. Provide quality control and review of mechanical design development and construction drawings. Provide site support and field verification during construction and vendor fabrication assistance. Ensure firm‑wide protocols and standards are followed. Maintain and expand current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to applicable projects and continually strengthening skills. Qualifications Professional Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and strong leadership skills. 7+ years of related experience in mechanical building systems design. Experience with Revit MEP is an asset. A registered membership with a provincial engineering association is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
