Are you an experienced Marine Structural Engineer looking to progress your career?We'relooking for a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join our growing team. We are open to filling this position inany of our Atlantic Canada offices including Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, Grand Falls, Bathurst,Halifaxor St. Johns.

A typical day on the job might look like:
Providing engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects (ports,harboursand bridges)
Working with diverse teams of discipline managers, engineers,designersand technicians
Managing projects andbeing responsible forcompletion on schedule and financial performance
Acting as a technical resource and as a mentor to junior/intermediate staff
Writing,compilingand reviewing technical reports
Preparing fee proposals
Being a member of site visit teams, gathering information asrequiredto complement design activities
Maintaining quality throughout a project andimplementimprovements when determined
Preparing regular project summary reports
Encouraging growth within the group and increasing the general knowledge base throughout the company
Developing and sustaining long-lasting business relationships with clients
Identifyingand mitigating potential hazards in the field or onsite, promoting a safe working environment.

Yourqualificationsand what you bring:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited University
Minimum of 12years of experience in civil engineeringincluding specificexpertisein marine structures.
Adaptability torepresentGEMTEC professionally with clients, developers, or contractors
Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to convey technical ideas clearly
Eligibility to register or are currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) withone or more of the Atlantic provinces
Proven ability to manage projects
Ability to obtain security clearance
Valid drivers license
