Summary
This role is accountable for ensuring our fleet is reliable, field-ready, and operating at optimal capacity. You will lead the maintenance strategy, reduce unplanned downtime, and build the systems, reports, and programs needed to support a growing operation.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute the company’s
maintenance strategy
across all equipment and operations
Establish and drive
preventative
, proactive, and predictive maintenance programs
Standardize maintenance practices,
workflows, and documentation
to improve efficiency
Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance and equipment team
Drive accountability for safety, performance, and productivity
Own
KPIs including uptime, downtime, maintenance
compliance, and
lifecycle cost
performance
Implement and
manage systems (CMMS preferred)
to track maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics
Lead c
apital planning and equipment investment
decisions based on operational and financial data
Own heavy-duty equipment specifications for new purchases and internal builds
Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to support maintenance and procurement needs
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience
5+ years of leadership experience in fleet, heavy equipment, or maintenance management
Proven experience improving equipment reliability and reducing downtimeStrong experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Hands-on experience with CMMS or maintenance tracking systems
Ability to use data, KPIs, and financial metrics to drive decisions
Strong coaching and team development capabilities
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (P&IDs considered an asset)
Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) or similar certification is an asset
On-site (100% in-person) role

Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and overall fit for the role.
